I ordered a pair of talams all the way from the US. They arrived promptly and have a wonderful tone. One is made of iron and the other of brass, and they have two different diameters. These combine to have two different tones, each of which rings clear and true. The iron talam does need to be polished as the metal will otherwise rust, but I keep a light film of oil on mine and I am very happy with my order.
